Transcript species with increased abundance in PMBC of Aged patients with Infectious diseases in Acute phase (AIA, n = 39), compared with healthy aged (HA, n = 28) probands and with Aged patients with Infectious diseases in Convalescence phase (AIC, n = 33). Transcripts are sorted according to 3 classes whether their abundance came back to the values of the control (healthy aged) at convalescence (class 1, Figure 2), significantly changed towards the values of the control at convalescence without full return to the values control (class 2, Figure 2 right and 3 left) or not (class 3, Figure 3 right). Results are given as means ± standard deviation. Statistical analysis were carried out by the Mann-Whitney test for comparison between AIA and HA or AIC and HA, and by Wilcoxon's test for comparison between AIC and AIA.
